Hantel was founded in 1999 by Mary and Dave Gallup. Their vision of a company that would bring medical devices to market, with all services provided under one roof, laid the groundwork for building the comprehensive service provider that Hantel is today. Their mission was to create a company culture and structure that facilitated rapid project turnaround, and provided the flexibility in service needed to meet the unique needs of an extremely diverse clientele, from startups to fortune 500 companies. Since then, Hantel has become a leader in contract design and manufacturing, having developed hundreds of products for a wide array of applications. Hantel retains a highly qualified and diverse workforce with expertise in all aspects of medical device development and manufacturing. Mary has 27 years of experience exclusively in the medical device industry. Prior to founding Hantel, Mary led a consulting firm that assessed and established Documentation and Quality Systems for early stage ventured backed companies, such as Radiotherapeutics, Vital Insite and others. Mary also represented clients during regulatory and certification audits. She previously held management level positions supporting New Product Introduction and Documentation Development at Abbot Laboratories and Oximetrix. Mary evokes a no-compromise position on quality and service that is delivered every day by Hantel personnel. |
- Marina Weinstock, VP of Operations

Marina's responsibilities include maintaining and strengthening Hantel's position as one of North America's premier manufacturers of medical devices. With over 20 years of experience, she oversees Manufacturing, Fabrication, Planning, Supply Chain and Logistics, IT and Hantel's facilities. She came to Hantel from Agilent technologies, where she was instrumental in building and managing the Corporate Supply Chain organization. Prior to that, Marina worked for Hewlett-Packard in a variety of management positions in the Corporate Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing departments. Marina also worked at National Semiconductor where she organized and managed a world wide network of ASIC Design Centers.

- Marc Spinali, Director of Engineering

Marc's responsibilities at Hantel span all aspects of Product Development including conceptual design, detailed design, 3D CAD, finite element analysis (FEA), verification and validation, and complete documentation packages. He has over 15 years of diverse engineering experience from biotechnology, automotive, semiconductor, and contract engineering industries. His experience extends across many areas of mechanical engineering, from structural design through precision mechanisms. Marc previously held a Program Manager position at Lathrop Engineering. He also led a number of advanced technology programs and generated a number of key patents as the Engineering Manager for the Automated Electrophysiology Group at Molecular Devices Inc. and at Nikon Research Corporation. |
- Sunil Mehra, Controller

Sunil joined Hantel Technologies in 2007. His responsibilities include handling all aspects of Hantel's financial, administration and H.R. issues. Sunil brings over 25 years of experience in Finance and Management to Hantel, in diverse industries including Distribution, Trading, Manufacturing, Freight Forwarding and Shipping. He also has broad experience in international trading and business practices, with focus on Africa, Europe and the Middle East. His previous positions included Head of the Accounting Department at Vend Mart Inc., a Bay Area based food distribution company; Managing Director of Tokai Kenya Limited, a trading and manufacturing company based in Nairobi, while simultaneously working as the Business Development Manager for Africa Region with Triburg Trade, a company based in Dubai; and as the Group Chief Accountant with Ellerman Lines Limited, a shipping group based in London. |
